Roisin Bennett
Senior Associate in Our Property Department
Roisin Bennett completed her BCL at University College Dublin in 1998 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2003. She joined our property department in 2005. Since 2007 she has been a Senior Associate in our property team dealing with a range of property issues to include sales and purchases of commercial properties, commercial leases for both Landlords and Tenants in the retail, office, hospitality and manufacturing sector. Roisin also has extensive experience in residential sales and purchases and residential development schemes.
Roisin is also involved in all areas of sports law to include acquisition and disposal of property by sports clubs, advices to trustees of sports organisations and dealing with disciplinary issues for sports organisations. Roisin also has a keen interest in the area of regulatory and disciplinary law having acted for a number of professionals before their regulatory bodies.
Roisin acts for a number of lending institutions in the provision of advices regarding letters of sanction, drafting of facility letters, review and perfection of security and enforcement proceedings to realise security.
Most recently, Roisin completed the Law Society of Ireland Diplomas in Commercial Property in 2008 and Civil Litigation in 2010. Roisin is a regular contributor to periodicals such as The Parchment, The Conveyancing and Property Law Journal and also Accountancy and Business Magazine. Roisin has a keen interest in public interest law and volunteered with Free Legal Advice Centres. Roisin is admitted as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland and England and Wales. She is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association Conveyancing Committee.
