Lorna McAuliffe
Partner - Head of Our Litigation Department
Lorna McAuliffe is a partner in the firm and the head of the litigation department. Lorna is a graduate of University College, Cork, and holds B.C.L. and LL.B. degrees. Lorna has a broad ranging depth of experience acting for Plaintiffs and Defendants from District to Supreme Court level. Initially, she specialised in the area of criminal law and personal injury litigation. Then she progressed to work on landmark product liability cases, which had far-reaching ramifications in the State.
Lorna has represented very high profile clients before the Moriarty and Flood Tribunals.
Lorna has gained considerable experience in sports administrative law, acting for both professional players and European clubs, which included injunctive challenges against administrative rules of European sports bodies. Since her appointment as head of the litigation department, Lorna has successfully defended major sports organisations in cases which had serious implications for them.
Lorna has dealt with a wide range of commercial litigation disputes and she has considerable experience in media law, intellectual property disputes, construction law, property disputes, arbitration and employment disputes, (including injunctions and EAT actions).
