Foreign businesses are an important part of Reddy Charlton’s practice.  Ireland’s exports are showing impressive growth and Ireland continues to be an attractive location for foreign direct investment.

What we do

Reddy Charlton provides a complete suite of services to any business establishing an operation in Ireland.  Reddy Charlton supports and advises you through each step of the process from studying the feasibility of the proposal, establishing the business, hiring staff, finding premises, protecting intellectual property, contracting with your customers, dealing with the local and governmental authorities and guiding you through compliance with Irish law in the running of your business.

We have particular expertise in:-

  • incorporation of companies or establishment of branches
  • employment law
  • the leasing or purchase of business premises
  • trademarks and intellectual property
  • negotiation of grant and investment agreements with State agencies such as IDA and Enterprise Ireland
  • commercial contracts
  • financing and investment arrangements

What we have done for others

We act for one of the largest manufacturers of food processing machinery, which now forms part of a Norwegian group.

We act for the Irish subsidiaries of a number of US technology companies. We have assisted them in their establishment, advised in relation to the protection and licensing of their intellectual property, prepared contracts of employment and concluded share subscription and other investment agreements on their behalf.

We act for the Irish subsidiaries of Indaver NV, the Belgian based waste management and waste disposal company.  Indaver is building the first large scale waste management facility in Ireland.  We have advised on all commercial aspects of the design, construction and commercial operation of the facility.

We also act for a range of other companies, controlled by Swedish, British, Italian, American, Belgian, Swiss, German and French shareholders.
